Cross-disciplinary designer Lau Tin Ho, Stickyline Co-founder Mic Leong, and architect Aron Tsang teamed up to conceptualise a walnut reading lounge chair based on Chelsia Lau’s design brief. Under engineer-turned-furniture-designer Danial Chow’s design and production guidance, they convey a sense of purity and timelessness through innovative techniques, long-lasting materials and a streamlined form inspired by auto design aesthetics.
Walnut Reading Lounge Chair conveys a sense of purity and timelessness through research and development of innovative techniques, processes, engineering, long-lasting materials and a streamlined and poetic form inspired by auto design aesthetics.
The chair is made of solid American walnut, solid stainless steel, genuine leather and memory foam. The solid walnut sections and legs are jointed. The upholstered leather, foam neck-rest and detachable seat-cushion are all assembled in a unique and innovatively engineered method, with specially developed hidden hardware.
